Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi congratulated business associations on the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day.

On the morning of October 11, Comrade Nguyen Van Thi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Planning and Investment, Nghi Son Economic Zone Management Board and Provincial Industrial Parks visited and congratulated business associations on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024).

The delegation visited and congratulated the Provincial Business Association, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh Branch (VCCI Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh).

At the meetings, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee commended and recognized the great efforts and contributions of the business community of Thanh Hoa province.

In recent times, the business community has created production values in all fields, which is the main driving force for Thanh Hoa province to achieve comprehensive results in socio-economic fields.

In the first 9 months of 2024, the province's GRDP grew by 12.46%; state budget revenue is estimated at VND 42,695 billion, exceeding the estimate by 20% and increasing by 44.7% over the same period; export value increased by 27.3%... The indicators assessing international economic integration capacity, attracting direct investment, provincial competitiveness, governance and public administration efficiency all achieved positive results.

He affirmed that the leading role of associations in the development of the business community is indispensable. Over the years, business associations in the province have performed well in their gathering and bridging functions, deserving to be the "common home" of the business community in the province.

Along with focusing on propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's and the province's policies and laws to enterprises, associations have participated deeply and responsibly in draft projects and socio-economic development programs; gathering opinions to propose amendments and supplements to the State's legal documents.

In particular, the associations have done a good job of protecting the rights and interests of their members, gathering difficulties and obstacles to present to the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches for resolution, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to develop production and contribute to society.

Chairman of Thanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association spoke, affirming his efforts in leading the startup movement.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Thanh Hoa province still has a lot of potential for investment and exploitation as well as a lot of room for business development. Therefore, associations need to continue to play a good role in guiding members on the basis of complying with the law and enhancing international economic integration. Along with that, continue to play a good role as an intermediary and bridge between businesses and state management agencies; promptly summarize difficulties, problems and recommendations of businesses for competent authorities to resolve according to regulations.

To create an environment for businesses to have opportunities to develop, the provincial leaders will always accompany and stand side by side with the business community in creating increasingly equal and friendly investment and business institutions; regularly dialogue, care, share, accompany, promptly remove difficulties, obstacles and legitimate proposals and recommendations of businesses; create friendliness and trust between businesses and entrepreneurs with authorities at all levels. The Provincial People's Committee will resolutely and strictly handle acts of harassment and harassment by officials and civil servants that affect the progress of investment, construction and production and business activities of businesses.

Visiting and congratulating VCCI Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi sincerely thanked the unit's role in accompanying and supporting the business community of Thanh Hoa province, especially in the work of monitoring, criticizing, proposing and giving advice to provincial and central leaders to consider timely policy adjustments, promote administrative reform, and create a clear and safe corridor for businesses.
