Previously, on the afternoon of November 19, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son worked with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to review preparations for the Autumn Economic Forum 2025 (Forum), taking place from November 25 to 27.
Through the survey, the Deputy Prime Minister found that the Forum venues all have good facilities and open spaces; preparations are being carried out methodically and on schedule. The Deputy Prime Minister also suggested that Ho Chi Minh City could choose Thisky Hall as the permanent venue for the Forum in the near future.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested that all preparations must be completed before November 24, ensuring that the Forum is organized respectfully, hospitably, and successfully, not only in terms of content, but also in terms of reception, logistics, security, and safety, which are trademarks of Vietnam.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Organizing Committee to pay attention to organizing traffic well in the GEM Convention Center area; arrange more space for businesses to meet and exchange; space for reporters to work conveniently but in an orderly manner; and the art program at the reception must ensure uniqueness, impression, and modernity.
The Autumn Economic Forum 2025 will be attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son; leaders of ministries, sectors and localities. On the side of the World Economic Forum (WEF) , WEF President Borge Brende will speak online in two important sessions, WEF Managing Director Stephan Mergenthaler will attend the entire program.
As for international guests, as of November 17, there were 22 delegations of leaders of ministries, branches, localities of countries, international organizations; 75 delegations from centers of the 4th industrial revolution, innovation centers and large corporations from Europe, America, Australia and Asia confirmed their participation in the Forum.
According to Mr. Le Truong Duy, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), the Organizing Committee has basically completed the preparation of the program content after many rounds of careful review according to the Government's requirements and the WEF's professional guidance. The Forum will open on November 25 with an inspirational talk show for young people and the CEO500 - TEA Connect program, connecting Government leaders, WEF leaders and more than 500 global CEOs. In the evening of the same day, there will be an official reception hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

On November 26, there will be a plenary session and three bilateral discussion sessions; a dialogue between leaders of ministries, sectors and international experts; and a policy dialogue between the Prime Minister and WEF Executive Director Stephan Mergenthaler.
On November 27, there will be activities: Business tour program, cultural, historical and tourist sites of Ho Chi Minh City ; science and technology connection workshop between Vietnamese experts abroad and domestic enterprises; Vietnam - China business connection workshop; "1st C4IR Global Network Connection Night" program.
It is expected that within the framework of the Autumn Economic Forum 2025, Ho Chi Minh City and WEF will announce a Joint Statement on promoting smart manufacturing and global supply chains. In addition, 10 strategic cooperation agreements on technology, fintech data, microchips, logistics and seaports will be signed at the CEO500 - TEA Connect event.
