Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh received the President of the German World University Support Organization.

(laichau.gov.vn) This morning (October 3), at the Government Headquarters, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh received Dr. Kambiz Ghawami, President of the World University Support Organization, Federal Republic of Germany (WUS), representing the state of Hessen, who is on a working trip to Vietnam.

Dr. Kambiz Ghawami is also a member of the Council of Vietnam-Germany University; a member of the Financial Supervision Committee of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ).

Welcoming Dr. Kambiz Ghawami to visit and work in Vietnam, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh congratulated the successful concert performance of the Hessen State Symphony Orchestra last night at the Hoan Kiem Theater with the great contribution of Dr. Kambiz Ghawami.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh said that he had just led a Vietnamese Government delegation to visit and work in Germany from September 26-30, including attending the WAIFC Conference, working with politicians, organizations, and businesses of Germany and the state of Hessen; emphasizing that Vietnam always attaches importance to and wishes to promote the development of a good strategic partnership with Germany in general and with the state of Hessen in particular.

During the working sessions with German leaders as well as with German authorities, organizations and businesses, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh said that Germany highly appreciates the stability and positive changes in the economy, politics and major policies of Vietnam. German leaders and businesses all want to invest and seek opportunities, expand investment in Vietnam and highly appreciate the policy of building an international financial center in Vietnam.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh hopes that Dr. Kambiz Ghawami and the WUS Organization will continue to actively contribute to supporting and strengthening the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Germany and the state of Hessen; introducing, promoting, and calling for investors from Germany to come to Vietnam, especially financial investors to participate in the Vietnam International Financial Center; affirming that Vietnam always welcomes and creates the most favorable conditions for German enterprises to cooperate, invest, and do business effectively and long-term in Vietnam.

Thanking Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh for taking the time to welcome him, Dr. Kambiz Ghawami shared about the success of the special concert of the Hessen State Symphony Orchestra on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany; saying that the German musicians were very impressed with the Hoan Kiem Theater, which has sound quality and space on par with the world's great theaters.

According to Dr. Kambiz Ghawami, the Deputy Prime Minister's recent working trip to Germany was very successful; he said that 10 days ago, the Hessen state government had proposed a strategy to develop the Frankfurt Financial Center.

After the visit to Germany in March 2025 and the visit to the Vietnam-Germany University in early April 2025 by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, bilateral cooperation activities have made many positive developments; German businesses clearly understand Vietnam's policies and prospects for development and cooperation in the future.

Dr. Kambiz Ghawami also discussed and shared some information about German enterprises wishing to explore investment cooperation opportunities in Vietnam, and expressed his desire to learn about the need to train high-quality human resources to propose to include them in teaching programs as well as consulting for Vietnam.

After listening to Dr. Kambiz Ghawami's sharing, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that with the desire for development, in any field, Vietnam needs high-quality human resources. The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister ordered the Vietnam-Germany University to organize a scientific seminar on financial centers, inviting professors and managers of the world's leading financial centers to discuss at the seminar; requested the Ministry of Education and Training to synthesize human resource training needs, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to soon work with the Ministry of Finance to propose contents related to the construction, operation and development of international financial centers.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh also said that recently, the Vietnam-Germany University has organized very effective human resource training courses for the International Financial Center, inviting lecturers from Germany to teach at the school has improved the quality of training; said that the need for human resource training for Vietnam's international financial center will continue, so it is necessary to promote this effective method./.
