The pilot model of collecting and treating rural domestic wastewater in Yen Ninh commune is being accelerated for completion.

The project to build a pilot model for collecting and treating rural domestic wastewater was implemented in Yen Ninh commune with a total investment of 3.4 billion VND, aiming to treat domestic wastewater of households in Bang Ninh hamlet. From there, gradually improve the rural environment and protect people's health. The project is divided into 3 tank areas (sedimentation tank, anaerobic reactor tank and anaerobic filter tank area), with a wastewater treatment capacity of 60m3/day and night. In addition, there is a system of pipes to collect domestic wastewater from households to the main pipeline, a system of manholes, a cluster of wastewater treatment tanks and other auxiliary items.

Mr. Dao Van Toan, technical officer (Ninh Binh Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company) : The unit has been carrying out the construction of the above project since the end of December 2024, and has completed about 65% of the work volume. However, when digging deeper, we encountered many difficulties due to hard rocks and stagnant water. However, the unit has mobilized more equipment and human resources, and worked overtime to ensure progress and hand over the project in early May.

The installation of the incinerator and auxiliary works of the District Waste Landfill Project (Yen Lac Commune) has completed about 50% of the work volume.

For the Multi-purpose House and auxiliary items of the District Culture - Sports and Communication Center, the contractor has arranged maximum manpower to complete the project. Up to now, works such as pile driving, foundation construction, retaining wall construction, steel erection, well drilling, fire protection tank construction, etc. have been completed. Currently, the contractor is constructing the columns and roof of the multi-purpose house, etc. The total work volume has reached about 50%.

This is an important project with a total investment of 9.1 billion VND (from the provincial budget, district budget and other legal sources), aiming to meet the needs of daily life, cultural exchange, training and competition of sports of the people in the district. At the same time, it meets criterion 5.2, under criterion number 5 on Health - Culture - Education in building a new rural district.

The project has a total investment of nearly 13 billion VND, including items such as: Construction of equipment cover house; cover of the garbage loading area, drying yard before putting garbage into the incinerator; foundation for placing incinerator equipment (area of ​​nearly 400m2); exhaust gas treatment equipment... After completion and put into use, the project will meet the need for burning and thoroughly destroying household waste in Phu Luong district, thereby contributing to protecting the rural environment.

With the completion of the above projects and works, Phu Luong district will ensure the criteria of 9 criteria of a new rural district, including: Planning; traffic; irrigation and disaster prevention; electricity; Health - Culture - Education; economy; environment; quality of living environment; Political system - Security and order - Public administration.
