Collective of civil servants and employees of Phu Tan District People's Procuracy
In the past time, the District People's Procuracy has deployed and disseminated to all civil servants and employees the contents of newly issued laws, statutes, ordinances and joint circulars. Mobilizing civil servants and employees in the agency to well implement the Party's guidelines, laws and policies of the State. Implementing Directive 05 of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy on a number of measures to strengthen propaganda work in the People's Procuracy sector, the District People's Procuracy has launched and written 14 newsletters related to professional activities and emulation movements sent and posted on the Provincial People's Procuracy's website.
The District People's Procuracy sent civil servants to attend training courses organized by the Supreme People's Procuracy. Thereby, creating a team of cadres with solid professional skills and courage; determined to protect the Constitution, law, justice and social justice; constantly striving, studying and following the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh . Since the beginning of the year, the District People's Procuracy has supervised the handling of 80 denunciations and reports of crimes, and recommendations for prosecution, a decrease of 14 reports compared to the same period. Supervised the handling and resolution of 58 denunciations and reports of crimes, and recommendations for prosecution, reaching a rate of 79.5%, an increase of 22.5% compared to the same period. The rate of resolving information about crimes on time is 100%. The Procuracy has handled and resolved 1,226 cases and 4 matters.
The People's Procuracy has taken many measures to improve the quality of the practice of the right to prosecute and supervise the investigation of criminal cases. Timely assigning prosecutors to supervise the investigation from the beginning to proactively propose investigation requirements; assigning competent prosecutors to supervise the examination of crime scenes, especially for traffic accident scenes. For serious crimes, leaders directly examine the crime scenes and direct investigation activities. Do not allow the situation of wrongly prosecuting the accused to lead to suspension due to non-compliance or omission of crimes. Prosecutors assigned to supervise the investigation regularly review the cases being handled by the investigation agency to promptly urge the resolution, do not let the case expire after investigation, or the accused expire after detention. The District People's Procuracy has done a good job of supervising the decision not to prosecute the case by the investigation agency.
As a result, in the first 6 months of the year, the unit has exercised the right to prosecute and supervise the first-instance trial of 35 cases, 49 defendants. There were no cases where the Procuracy prosecuted, the court declared the defendant not guilty... In the coming time, the People's Procuracy of Phu Tan district will continue to promote its role and responsibility to set an example in management, direction and operation of work; link Party building with industry building; maintain the prestige and image of the industry and the agency. Continue to innovate thinking, leadership and direction methods in performing tasks; improve working style, tighten discipline and order in performing public duties and cultivate ethics and lifestyle of cadres, party members and prosecutors; resolutely handle and fight against violations and negative manifestations within the agency and in the performance of public duties; review, have plans and solutions to overcome the shortcomings and limitations of the agency. Strictly implement Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" associated with following Uncle Ho's teachings for the procuracy officials and the campaign "Building a team of officials and procuracy officials who are politically steadfast, professionally skilled, knowledgeable about the law, impartial and courageous, disciplined and responsible" associated with building a team of officials and civil servants in the procuracy who are "courageous, honest and professional".
