Admission methods include: Talent Selection method (XTTN), admission method based on Thinking Assessment test scores (ĐGTD) and admission method based on high school graduation exam scores ( TĐ ) .

Besides, Hanoi University of Science and Technology also conduct statistics, analyze enrollment data of the past 3 years, different admission combinations, analyze XTTN score distribution by area, TSA test score distribution , high school graduation exam score distribution with the original combination A00 (Math-Physics-Chemistry) as the basis for determining the correlation percentile range.

On that basis, the expert team has built a correlation table between university admission methods of Hanoi University of Science and Technology .

Accordingly, the Top% of high school graduation exam scores is calculated based on the total score of the original admission combination A00 (Math-Physics-Chemistry) for candidates with scores from the floor score to the highest score (30 points); Top% of XTTN scores 1.2 and 1.3 are calculated based on the total number of candidates with scores according to the XTTN method from the floor score to the highest score (100 points); Top% of DGTD scores is calculated based on the total number of candidates with TSA scores from the floor score to the highest score (100 points). The floor score is announced annually by Hanoi University of Science and Technology .
