
The delegation led by Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward, Do Trong Nam, visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Pham Thi Tu, mother of a martyr (lane 378 Le Duan) and Mr. Le Gia Khanh (lane 15/21 Tho Quan), who was infected with 81% or more of toxic chemicals.
The delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Ha Anh Tuan visited and presented gifts to Mr. Trinh Thanh Hung (Van Chuong alley), who was infected with 81% or more of toxic chemicals, and war invalid Hoang Duc Do (Thong Phong alley).

The delegation led by Tran Duc Hieu, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward, visited and presented gifts to Mr. Ho Duy Khanh (lane 132 Kham Thien), a person infected with toxic chemicals, and war invalid Pham Van Kien (lane Dinh Tuong Thuan).
Delegation No. 4 led by Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Mai Van Lam visited and presented gifts to the families of Ms. Nguyen Thi Moi and Mr. Nguyen Van Thau, relatives of martyrs at Kham Thien Market Alley; visited and presented gifts to Mr. Ho Quang An (Kham Thien Market Alley), who was infected with toxic chemicals.

At the places visited, the leaders of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward expressed their gratitude and deep appreciation for the contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers to protect the Fatherland and gain independence and freedom for the nation.
The ward leaders also kindly asked about the health of the martyrs' relatives and those affected by toxic chemicals and presented meaningful gifts; shared the losses and pains left by the war and hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, always be a shining example, encourage their children and grandchildren to well implement the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and contribute to building the locality to become more and more prosperous.
Receiving the affection and meaningful gifts from the ward, representatives of the families respectfully thanked the attention and encouragement of the local Party Committee and government; expressed their determination to promote family traditions, and set an example in implementing movements and campaigns launched by the ward.
According to the schedule, on July 24 and 25, the leaders of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward organized a ceremony to visit the Hanoi City Martyrs' Cemetery; offered incense at the steles in the ward; demonstrating the tradition and morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation.
