Viet Hung Ward honored many collectives and individuals on Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20

HNP - On November 17, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Viet Hung ward held a conference to honor outstanding collectives and individuals in the Education and Training sector in 2025, celebrating the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

This is an opportunity to express gratitude and honor the lasting contributions of generations of teachers in the ward, while affirming the deep concern of the Party Committee and government for the cause of education and training.

Welcome performance by students of Viet Hung ward

Attending the event were representatives of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training; Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Viet Hung Ward, Duong Hoai Nam; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ward, Le Duc Toan; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee, heads of departments and organizations; Party cell secretaries, heads of residential groups, heads of the Front work committee of 62 residential groups; Board of Directors of public and private schools; representatives of the Ward's Association of Former Teachers.

In particular, the Conference welcomed representatives of collectives and individuals who were commended and rewarded in the 2024-2025 school year, those who have made many contributions and outstanding achievements to the local education sector.

At the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy - Member of the Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, presented a speech commemorating the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day November 20, reviewing the nation's tradition of studiousness and respect for teachers; affirming the special position of teachers in the career of "cultivating people", nurturing talents and building Vietnamese people in the integration period.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy emphasized that education is always the top national policy, the teaching staff is the decisive factor in the quality of education. Over the years, the education sector of Viet Hung ward has always maintained the spirit of innovation and creativity and achieved important results.

Currently, the ward has 29 public schools and 11 non-public schools, of which 02 are high-quality schools, the rate of schools meeting national standards is over 96%. In the 2024-2025 school year, 100% of schools completed their targets well and excellently; many collectives were recognized with the title "Excellent Labor Collective", many individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training and the City People's Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy highly appreciated the efforts of teachers in the context of digital transformation being promoted. Schools have proactively applied information technology, deployed electronic grade books, electronic report cards, school management software; improved teaching quality and closely connected with parents.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Duong Hoai Nam - Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Council respectfully acknowledged and commended the outstanding results of the Ward Education sector in the 2024-2025 school year. He emphasized that these are achievements that clearly demonstrate the persistent efforts of the team of managers, teachers and staff of schools; at the same time, reflect the spirit of companionship and care of the Party Committee, government and local people for the cause of education.

Affirming that education and training are always the key areas, he said that the Party Committee of Viet Hung Ward always prioritizes resources and pays special attention to developing the school system, improving the quality of teaching and learning, creating an increasingly modern, friendly and equal educational environment for all students.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Viet Hung Ward, Duong Hoai Nam, presented the President's Third Class Labor Medal to Teacher Tran Thi Hoang Lam - Principal of Viet Hung Urban Kindergarten.

Orienting the tasks in the coming time, comrade Duong Hoai Nam requested the ward's Education sector to focus on implementing five major groups of tasks such as continuing to maintain and improve the quality of comprehensive education, focusing on key education, developing students' capacity in areas such as science, foreign languages, sports, and arts. Each school needs to clearly identify its focus and strengths to build its brand and reputation.

Comrade Duong Hoai Nam emphasized that each teacher must truly be a shining example of ethics, style, and dedication; constantly improve professional qualifications, innovate teaching methods, and adapt to the requirements of education in the digital age. Schools need to synchronously deploy electronic transcripts, electronic gradebooks, and school management software; and strengthen digital skills education and cyber security capacity for students.

The Secretary of the Viet Hung Ward Party Committee also requested units to closely coordinate with the Ward Police and organizations in preventing school violence, ensuring school security and safety, educating students on good lifestyles and life skills; strengthening the socialization of education, mobilizing the participation of residential groups, businesses, and parents' associations to create more resources for the development of the industry.

Leaders of Viet Hung ward expressed gratitude to former Heads of the Department of Education and Training of Long Bien district; commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the ward's Education and Training sector in 2025.

At the Conference, the leaders of Viet Hung Ward presented flowers to express gratitude to the former Heads of the Department of Education and Training of Long Bien District, recognizing the contributions of previous generations of leaders to the development of the ward. The Organizing Committee also announced the Decisions to commend and award collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2024-2025 school year. This is an important part showing the locality's recognition of the constant efforts of the teaching staff.
