Opening of the Food Festival - Ca Mau Crab Festival 2025

Attending the opening ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of Ca Mau province, there were Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy; Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen. The food festival was organized with 100 booths, attracting the participation of many businesses and cooperatives from Ca Mau province and Ho Chi Minh City.

The food festival is organized into 4 main spaces including: Exhibition area of models, images, and unique symbols of Ca Mau; area for displaying and introducing regional specialties, connecting trade with processed products from crab, dried shrimp, bird's nest, etc.; area for processing and introducing unique cuisine of Ca Mau province; stage area for cultural and artistic exchange with typical programs of Ca Mau such as: Don ca tai tu, folk songs of the river delta, costume performance, stories of sea and crab professions, folk and modern music .

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen emphasized: The Ca Mau Crab Festival - The 2nd time in 2025 held in Ho Chi Minh City this time is not only to promote endemic products such as shrimp, Ca Mau crab, specialty products, OCOP... but also an opportunity to introduce to friends and tourists near and far the flavor, culture and innovative spirit of Ca Mau.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen expressed his belief that the Food Festival - Ca Mau Crab Festival 2025 will be an important bridge to promote trade, expand investment cooperation opportunities, promote local brands and further strengthen the connection between Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau province in the coming time.

During the opening ceremony of the festival, cultural and artistic exchanges took place with the Art Program themed “Ca Mau - Southern Flavor” performed by Cao Van Lau Theater from Ca Mau province. In addition, the Organizing Committee also arranged concerts and clips to introduce the festival to the people and tourists.
