Lam Dong: Temporarily suspends all high-speed boats to Phu Quy Island due to bad weather

On the morning of November 19, the passenger transport operators on the Phan Thiet - Phu Quy route announced that they had temporarily suspended all high-speed boat operations due to bad weather, ensuring the safety of passengers and vehicles.

Specifically, the Trung Trac high-speed boat will stop operating in both directions from November 19 to 26. The two Superdong Phu Quy high-speed boats will also temporarily stop operating from November 20 to 22.

The reason is that the Northeast monsoon is strong, causing waves over 4m high, making travel at sea unsafe.

Currently, there are a total of 3 high-speed boats on the Phu Quy – Phan Thiet passenger transport route. The temporary suspension of these boats has significantly affected the travel needs of residents and tourists to and from Phu Quy Island – which is more than 56 nautical miles from the mainland.
