Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang received the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization

On the sidelines of the international conference “Innovation and sustainable development of the crab industry”, on the afternoon of November 18, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang had a meeting and discussion with Mr. Andrew Hall, senior expert of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO).

At the meeting, Mr. Andrew Hall said that CSIRO is Australia's national science agency and one of the largest research organizations in the world. It focuses on research in key areas: High technology, building technological solutions, applying technology in industries and innovative solutions for localities in a number of countries.

With 8 years of experience working and researching in Vietnam, Mr. Andrew Hall hopes to have opportunities to cooperate with Ca Mau province in the field of technology and innovation through research programs and projects that CSIRO is implementing.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang expressed his pleasure to welcome the CSIRO expert delegation; at the same time, he affirmed that strengthening cooperation with the world's leading research organizations, including CSIRO, is the province's priority orientation, aiming to promote the application of science, technology, and innovation in the province's socio-economic development.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang hopes that CSIRO will pay attention and coordinate with the locality to implement programs and projects on applying science, technology and innovation in various fields; especially consulting and supporting the Ca Mau Provincial Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, which is expected to be launched in the near future. In addition, connecting resources and experts to share and support the province in various fields, especially applying science, technology and technological solutions, innovation to serve the development of people's lives and production. In addition, supporting the connection of innovation enterprises to invest in the fields that the province is promoting.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang hopes that the cooperation ideas will soon be implemented, bringing specific results for socio-economic development and improving people's lives in Ca Mau province - the southernmost region of the country.
