Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen received the Malaysian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City

On the occasion of attending the conference connecting investment for enterprises from Ho Chi Minh City to Ca Mau province, on the morning of November 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen had a meeting with Mr. Firdauz Bin Othman, Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City for a courtesy visit.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province Huynh Chi Nguyen informed: Ca Mau is a province with many potentials and advantages for socio-economic development, especially in aquaculture, renewable energy, tourism, etc. Currently, the province has invested in and planned industrial parks and industrial clusters and is promoting the call for domestic and foreign investors to approach, learn about and invest in Ca Mau province.

Mr. Firdauz Bin Othman, Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, thanked the warm and respectful welcome of the leaders of Ca Mau province. Based on the long-term friendly and cooperative relationship between Malaysia and Vietnam, Mr. Firdauz Bin Othman realized that Malaysia and Vietnam in general, and Ca Mau province in particular, have great potential for cooperation in developing the Halal industry, renewable energy, education , culture, tourism, etc. Thereby, he hopes that through the meeting, he will be able to connect with the focal agencies and authorities of Ca Mau province to learn about the potentials and strengths, thereby promoting investment cooperation between Malaysian enterprises and investors and Ca Mau province.
