Mikel Arteta's Arsenal , despite their determination, were unable to make a comeback against PSG , after a 0-1 defeat in the first leg at home.
In the rematch in Paris early this morning (May 8), the team that missed the Premier League for the third time in a row lost 1-2, sadly watching PSG enter the Champions League final with a total score of 3-1.
After the match, Mikel Arteta declared that Arsenal were the better team and they did not deserve to be eliminated.

When hearing Mikel Arteta's words, saying that Arsenal played better than PSG, Luis Enrique refuted: " I completely disagree. Mikel Arteta is a great friend but it cannot be said that Arsenal played better than PSG.
In the two matches, PSG scored more goals than Arsenal and that is the most important thing. We deserve to be in the final."
PSG will compete for the Champions League elephant ear cup with Inter Milan, at Allianz Arena (Munich) at 2am on June 1.
