On December 18, 2024, PTSC Marine Mechanical Services Company Limited (PTSC M&C) successfully organized the Conference to summarize Party work, production and business activities, and Union work in 2024, the Conference to commend advanced models and the Labor Conference in 2025. The Conference was honored to welcome the participation of representatives of the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Board of General Directors, Board of Supervisors, Executive Board of Trade Union, Youth Union, Veterans Association, Functional Boards from Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation, Comrades representing the Leaders and Chairmen of Trade Unions of member units/affiliated units of the Corporation.
On behalf of PTSC M&C, there were Comrade To Ngoc Tu, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee, Director; Comrade Luu Duc Hoang, Chairman; Comrade Pham Van Chuan, Chairman of the Trade Union; comrades in the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Executive Board of the Trade Union, Youth Union, Veterans Association, Department/Project Board Leaders, retired cadres and 334 delegates representing nearly 1,700 employees attending the Conference.
At the Conference, Comrade Tran Thien Le, Deputy Secretary of the Company's Party Committee, on behalf of the Party Committee, presented the Summary Report on Party Work. In 2024, on the eve of the 6th Party Congress of the Company (Term 2025-2030) towards the Party Congress of PTSC Corporation and Party Congresses at all levels, which is also an important and decisive moment in the implementation period of the 5-year term plan (2020-2025), the Company's leadership has made efforts in directing and operating to exceed the production and business plan. With the spirit of Solidarity in the Party, the Party Committee and the Company's leadership always focus on building Corporate Culture according to the orientation of the Group and the Corporation; thoroughly grasp and focus on leading and directing the synchronous and comprehensive implementation of solutions, concretizing the Resolutions of the Party Committees at all levels through the Action Program to complete the assigned political tasks and the set goals and strategies.
Representing the Company's Leadership, Comrade To Ngoc Tu reported on the summary of production and business activities in 2024 and the direction and tasks for 2025. With the attention and close direction of the Leaders of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, the Corporation, together with the efforts and determination of the Board of Directors, mass organizations and employees; The Company has achieved outstanding achievements in 2024, specifically: Completing the signing of EPCI general contracts for the Lac Da Vang, Block B - Package 2 projects and signing the PC subcontract for the Block B - Package 1 project, signing PSA and EWA with the SRE Investor for the Formosa 4 project; With 09 projects implemented by the Company in 2024, in addition to the Gallaf Batch 3 EPCI5, Hai Long OSS, CHW2204 projects that have been basically completed, the Block B - Package 1, 2 projects; Lac Da Vang, Baltica 02, Feng Miao, Formosa 4 are being implemented safely, with quality and on schedule. The Company has achieved nearly 6.3 million safe working hours and for the first time the Company has designed the entire CPP package (Lac Da Vang Project). In 2025, the Company will enter the peak phase of project construction, so it will focus all resources and solutions to ensure safety, progress, quality and efficiency as committed to customers. Perfecting the capacity of EPCI/EPCM general contractors for oil and gas projects, offshore wind power. Developing high-quality human resources associated with appropriate remuneration policies. The Company continues to promote the spirit of solidarity, high responsibility, dedication to work and assigned tasks with the motto of one team, one goal, connecting strengths - creating success, mobilizing maximum resources to bring the Company to stable and sustainable development in 2025 and the following years.
Following the program, Comrade Pham Van Chuan, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, reported on the summary of the Trade Union's work and deployed the directions and tasks for 2025. The Trade Union launched many emulation movements on the occasion of Workers' Month, organizing the "Launching ceremony of the emulation for 120 days and nights to complete the COW-HUC sea campaign of the Gallaf 3 project" in Qatar; "Launching the emulation in response to the campaign to safely isolate energy sources, dangerous areas and safe hands" of the CHW2204 project. In coordination with the PTSC Corporation Trade Union, PVN Trade Union and Phu Quoc POC organized the launching ceremony of the emulation to complete the Block B Gas Field development project in 2024 and promptly encouraged and rewarded collectives and individuals with achievements in implementing the labor emulation production for 10 collectives and 42 individuals at the CHW2204 project, Gallaf3 project, Hai Long OSS project..., with a reward of 95 million VND. The company recognized more than 95 initiatives for improvement and innovation of workers. The Trade Union organized for workers to participate in the 14th PTSC Corporation Sports Festival and Mass Arts Festival with excellent results (16 Gold Medals, 11 Silver Medals, 6 Bronze Medals) and the Special Prize at the Mass Arts Festival, for the first time the men's football team won the championship at the PVN Sports Festival in the Southern region. The Trade Union acts as a focal point with mass organizations to carry out charity work, social security, care for workers, policy families, and people in difficulty in 2024 with more than 10.7 billion VND.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Phan Thanh Tung - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Comrade Tran Ho Bac - Deputy Party Secretary, General Director of PTSC Corporation acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the unit's production and business activities in 2024, especially outstanding in labor safety (the accumulated safe working hours from 2016 to present of the Company reached over 56 million hours) ... contributed to enhancing the position and brand of the Corporation, PTSC M&C in the region and internationally. The Corporation requested the unit to focus on Leadership and direction to successfully organize the Congress of affiliated Party cells (Term 2025-2027) and the Congress of Delegates of PTSC M&C Party Committee, Term VI (Term 2025-2030). Continue to strengthen investment in machinery, equipment, modern technology, implement digital transformation, plan to upgrade manufacturing and construction sites, and improve the management process system to increase scale, labor productivity and increase production and business efficiency. With the determination to build a clean and strong unit, Party organization, and mass organization in all aspects, continue to maintain and promote the spirit of solidarity, discipline and responsibility; The Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee, Chairman, Director, Chairman of the Trade Union, the Board of Directors, mass organizations, Departments/Project Boards signed the Emulation Covenant under the witness of the Corporation's leaders and demonstrated a high determination to successfully complete the political goals and tasks in 2025.
