Le Chan District: The 13th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Niem Nghia Ward, term 2024 - 2029
(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of March 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Niem Nghia Ward, Le Chan District held the 13th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates of the Ward, term 2024 - 2029. Attending the Congress were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the District; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the Ward; Heads of branches, unions, Principals of Schools, Party Cell Secretaries, Heads of Residential Groups in the ward.


In the 2019 - 2024 term, the Ward Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with member organizations to mobilize people of all walks of life to carry out campaigns and emulation movements with many results: Campaigns "Day for the Poor", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", especially the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". Mobilizing people to keep alleys clean, building 12 self-managed alleys for environmental sanitation, traffic safety and order; the society spent more than 3.2 billion VND to open alleys, repair and upgrade 56 alleys, install more than 70 new light bulbs, and plant 50 trees. Propaganda on fire prevention and fighting has been actively deployed, mobilizing the installation of 32 public fire stations, 3 inter-family groups on fire prevention and fighting safety, dismantling 129 tiger cages to open emergency exits... The number of cultural households and cultural residential groups in the area is higher year after year, by 2023, the whole ward will have 10/10 residential groups achieving the title of cultural residential group, 97.3% of families achieving the title of cultural family.

Social security work is ensured. In the past 5 years, the number of poor households in the ward has decreased by 29 households. Currently, there are no poor households, and the number of near-poor households has decreased to 32 households. The ward's Fatherland Front Committee has done a good job in humanitarian and charity work: building 1 new house, repairing 11 "Great Solidarity" houses with a total cost of 785 million VND, and giving more than 2,200 gifts to households in difficult circumstances.

In the 2024 - 2029 term, with the goal of continuing to strongly promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations; strengthening and expanding the great national unity bloc in the locality, focusing on the grassroots; mobilizing the strength of the great national unity bloc to contribute to building a strong Party, government and political system, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has proposed 5 action programs with specific goals and solutions for implementation.

The Congress also consulted and elected 5 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 17th District Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.




On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 9 individuals; Niem Nghia Ward People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 9 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Front for the 2019-2024 term.
