Ngo Quyen District propagates and mobilizes households to move to implement the Dong Quoc Binh Apartment Renovation Project (Phase 2)

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the evening of February 20, Ngo Quyen district organized working groups to propagate and mobilize households to move to implement the Dong Quoc Binh apartment renovation project (phase 2).
The project to invest in building technical infrastructure to serve investment projects to renovate old apartment buildings in Dong Quoc Binh Ward (phase 2) was approved by the City People's Council in investment policy, approved by the City People's Committee in Decision No. 383/QD-UBND dated February 10, 2023 with the goal of: continuing to build and renovate technical infrastructure in Dong Quoc Binh Ward; ensuring safety for people in old and dangerous apartment buildings; creating a civilized and modern urban appearance to improve the quality of life of people...
The project will recover 14.26 hectares, affecting 11 organizations and more than 1,400 households and individuals in Dong Quoc Binh and Dang Giang wards. Up to now, the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District has approved the Compensation and Support Plan for 1,156/1,156 households in 34 old apartment buildings and 49/291 households with residential land, of which 1,082 households have complied with receiving money and handing over the land according to regulations. At the same time, the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District has coordinated with the Department of Construction and Hai Phong Housing Management and Trading Company Limited to organize 07 lottery draws and arrange resettlement for 411 households to HH1 - HH2, HH3 - HH4 Dong Quoc Binh apartments to stabilize their lives.
In the coming time, to ensure the progress of the Project implementation according to the direction of the city, the District People's Committee requests households in 34 old apartment buildings in Dong Quoc Binh Ward to agree with the city's policy, receive money and hand over houses soon; coordinate and provide complete documents according to regulations so that departments, offices and units under the district can quickly speed up the process of reviewing documents, and move households to new residences before March 15, 2024 according to the direction of the City People's Committee in Notice No. 52/TB-VP dated February 1, 2024. After the above time, the District People's Committee will deploy procedures for forced relocation of cases of non-compliance according to regulations. Organizations, households and individuals whose land is recovered must comply with the measurement, counting and handing over the site to implement the Project according to regulations./.
