Quang Nam is out of the top 30 PCI index in 2024

(QNO) - On May 6, the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) announced the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) 2024.

Accordingly, Quang Nam ranked 37th on the list and for the second consecutive year was out of the top 30 provinces and centrally-run cities with the best PCI index.

Previously, also in this ranking, Quang Nam ranked 13th in 2020, 19th in 2021 and 22nd in 2022. This year, although outside the top 30, Quang Nam's PCI score reached 67.37, continuing to improve compared to previous years.

With 67.37 points, the gap between Quang Nam's score and the provinces and cities ranked 20-30 on the PCI rankings is not too far (in which Thai Binh province ranked 30th, reaching 67.87 points).

The top 10 localities leading PCI 2024 are Hai Phong City, Quang Ninh Province, Long An, Bac Giang , Ba Ria Vung Tau, Hue City, Hau Giang Province, Phu Tho, Dong Thap and Hung Yen.
