Quang Nam deploys many solutions to improve anti-corruption assessment index

To overcome the limitations in the component criteria with low or no scores, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the directors of departments, branches, sectors, public service units of the province and the chairmen of the district-level People's Committees to thoroughly grasp and synchronously implement solutions to prevent corruption such as: transparency in organization and operation; building and implementing norms, standards, and regimes; implementing codes of conduct and transferring work positions of people with positions and powers in agencies, organizations, and units.

Promote administrative reform, apply science and technology in management and non-cash payments; control assets and income of people with positions and powers in agencies, organizations and units.

The whole province improves the effectiveness of detecting and handling corruption, waste, and negativity through inspection, supervision, investigation, handling of denunciations, reflections, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments.

In particular, strictly implement the coordination mechanism to detect and handle violations right in the process of inspection, supervision, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments.

Agencies, localities and units proactively conduct internal self-inspections and supervision, promptly detect and prevent manifestations of corruption, waste and negativity; promptly conduct surprise inspections and audits when detecting signs of law violations.

Heads of agencies, units and localities must directly receive citizens periodically and direct the handling of citizens' denunciations, petitions and reflections according to regulations; thoroughly resolve complicated and prolonged denunciations, petitions and reflections, not causing public outrage.

Ensure that all petitions and complaints about corruption, waste and negative behavior are considered and handled in accordance with regulations. Review and clarify the responsibilities of heads of agencies, units and localities for cases of corruption, waste and negative behavior to occur.

At the same time, improve the effectiveness of recovering lost and misappropriated assets in corruption and economic cases. The authorities should strengthen coordination to promptly and fully apply measures to seize and freeze assets to prevent the dispersion and loss of assets, and improve the effectiveness of recovering corrupt money and assets through civil judgment enforcement.
