In Thang Binh district, the implementation of projects has encountered many difficulties in site clearance. From that reality, the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front, and organizations in the district always determine to focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of mass mobilization work, especially implementing well the Regulations on mass mobilization work of the political system.

Mr. Le Quang Hat - Standing Deputy Secretary of Thang Binh District Party Committee said that the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee focuses on directing mass mobilization work in state administrative agencies.

The focus is on effectively coordinating the implementation of the work of mobilizing people to agree on land acquisition and clearance for key projects being implemented such as the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E, Tay Giang Bridge, and connect the Central region...

In 2024, the district organized 71 dialogues with the people (10 at the district level and 61 at the commune level). Along with that, the emulation movement "Skillful mass mobilization" was widely developed with nearly 300 models, of which 2 models were selected by the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to be widely adopted throughout the province.

According to the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, in 2024, in parallel with the leadership work of issuing policies, resolutions, directives, and conclusions to comprehensively lead all aspects of work, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and Party committees at all levels have focused on leading the mass mobilization work of the political system in conjunction with assigned functions and tasks.

In 2024, the mass mobilization work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass associations will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, mobilize the masses, closely follow the grassroots, and strongly focus on the lives, thoughts, and legitimate and legal aspirations of the people.

In particular, two outstanding highlights led by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the past year were mobilizing resources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by 2025 with a total fund of support and registered support of more than 120 billion VND and launching and calling for support for people in the northern localities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters with an amount of more than 37.5 billion VND.

Replicating good models

The work of mobilizing ethnic minorities to change their "thinking and working style" to escape poverty sustainably according to Directive 27 of Phuoc Son District Party Committee is one of the typical models in mass mobilization work.

Mr. Ho Van Phen - Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Son district said that in the past 2 years, integrating resources from national target programs, sectors and localities from the district to the grassroots have coordinated to implement a model of changing "thinking and working methods" in economic development with 89 livestock production groups (1,136 households participating); including 1,071 ethnic minority households, 527 poor households, 303 near-poor households, and 220 newly escaped poverty households.

In addition, a pilot model of converting from planting acacia to intercropping large timber trees and fruit trees has been piloted in 108 households with the active participation of prestigious people, cadres and party members.

“Many ethnic minority households have gradually abandoned outdated habits such as free-range livestock grazing, switching to building barns and growing grass for livestock feed. In addition, household groups also participate in the “3 helps” model and labor exchange rounds to support each other in production,” Mr. Phen shared.

In 2024 alone, the province registered and implemented 2,052 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models, of which 1,547 models were recognized. According to Project No. 23, on November 15, 2024, the Provincial Party Standing Committee decided to select 20 typical "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models to replicate in the period 2025 - 2030.

Pioneer and role model in streamlining the apparatus

Speaking at the conference to review the mass mobilization work in 2024, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the People's Council Nguyen Duc Dung emphasized that 2025 is an important year, requesting agencies, units, localities and the provincial mass mobilization sector to focus on implementing well the 5 key tasks.

In particular, continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement mass mobilization work associated with the implementation of assigned tasks in the direction of "clear work, clear responsibilities, clear progress, clear results, and specific products" and according to the motto "close to the people, respect the people, be responsible to the people, take the trust, satisfaction and happiness of the people as the goal to strive for".

Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung said that it is expected that by February 20, 2025, the provincial level will complete the merger of the two agencies, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, into the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Therefore, each mass mobilization cadre must be imbued with the Party's ideology and policies, have a correct understanding of the apparatus streamlining revolution; be a pioneer, set an example and do a good job of propagating and mobilizing cadres, party members and people in synchronously implementing policies.
