Quang Ninh requests Ba Vang Pagoda not to accept donations of strange mascots

Through the results of the actual inspection, the monitoring team of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh requested Ba Vang Pagoda to continue to strictly implement Directive No. 30/CT-TTg dated December 15, 2023 of the Prime Minister on strengthening measures to ensure a joyful, healthy, safe and economical Tet holiday; strictly implement other relevant regulations.

The monitoring delegation of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province recorded that the activities at Ba Vang pagoda during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin took place safely and in accordance with regulations.

Along with that, the monitoring team requested Ba Vang Pagoda to continue to strictly follow the regulations on not accepting donations from strange mascots; not using inappropriate foreign symbolic products and mascots at the relic. Strictly follow the regulations on not organizing superstitious practices, offering stars to ward off bad luck at the relic. Maintain environmental hygiene, prevent fires and explosions, ensure security and order, and traffic safety. Prevent theft at places of worship, fortune telling, card shaking, pickpocketing, and cultural products with fortune telling content.

The monitoring delegation also requested Ba Vang Pagoda to continue to strictly implement Circular 04/2023/TT-BTC on guidance on management and financial revenue and expenditure for festival organization and donation money, sponsorship for relics and festival activities according to current laws.
