Quoc Oai: Replicate good models and good deeds to spread the spirit of "Great Unity"

HNP - On the afternoon of November 8, Quoc Oai commune organized the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025) and the National Great Unity Day at the residential areas of Thach Than 1, 2, 3, 4 villages.

In recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quoc Oai commune has always been a solid bridge between the Party, the government and the people, encouraging people of all walks of life to actively participate in the patriotic emulation movement, building an increasingly innovative and civilized homeland.

In 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quoc Oai commune continued to affirm its central role in solidarity by synchronously implementing many in-depth movements and campaigns with strong community imprints. The commune mobilized agencies, businesses, and charitable individuals inside and outside the locality to support nearly 1 billion VND for social security and gratitude work; built 2 solidarity houses for farmer members and disadvantaged women; supported hundreds of gifts for people with meritorious services, poor households, and students overcoming difficulties.

The movements to build advanced new rural areas are closely linked with the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", bringing a new look to many villages and hamlets. Many typical models, such as: "Bright - green - clean - beautiful self-managed village" in Sai Khe, "Flower road instead of garbage dump" in Thach Than 4, "Green park" in Dinh To, drowning prevention project in Quang Yen... have contributed to spreading the spirit of initiative and responsibility of the people in preserving the landscape and building a civilized community.

At the ceremony, Quoc Oai commune commended and rewarded 22 typical households in the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" in 2025; presented 44 gifts worth more than 30 million VND to households in difficult circumstances. Religious organizations and businesses in the commune presented 2 solidarity houses, 17 bicycles, 1 motorbike, 21 heating lamps with a total value of more than 165 million VND to students with good academic performance, disabled children and disadvantaged households.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city presented to near-poor households in Quoc Oai commune 6 breeding cows and 5 electric motorbikes with a total value of 220 million VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Quoc Oai Commune Nguyen Truong Son praised the results achieved by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune in the past time, especially in effectively implementing emulation movements, major campaigns, and taking care of the material and spiritual life of the people. He hoped that in the coming time, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations would continue to promote their core role in the great national unity bloc, replicate good models and good deeds, so that the spirit of "Great Unity" would truly spread, becoming a great strength in building Quoc Oai Commune to develop more and more sustainably.
