According to this decision, Dai Loc is identified as one of the key economic zones in the North of Quang Nam , adjacent to Da Nang city, playing an important role in connecting the Central Central region economy with the Central Highlands; developing agriculture, services and industry.
According to the plan, the population of Dai Loc district by 2030 will reach about 188,300 people (permanent population about 165,600 people). Of which, the urban population will be about 57,300 people (permanent population about 52,800 people). The urbanization rate by 2030 will reach about 31.9%.
Forecast of economic sector value structure by 2030 in Dai Loc: industry - handicraft - construction accounts for 67%; service sectors account for 29%; agriculture - forestry - fishery accounts for 4%.
The construction planning of Dai Loc district is divided into 3 development sub-regions. Sub-region 1 includes 6 communes (Dai Dong, Dai Quang, Dai Nghia, Dai Hiep, Dai Hoa, Dai An) and Ai Nghia town. This is an industrial - commercial - service development area. The center of the sub-region is Ai Nghia town and Dai Hiep new urban area.
Sub-region 2 includes 5 communes (Dai Phong, Dai Minh, Dai Cuong, Dai Thang,
Dai Tan). This is an agricultural - tourism development area. The sub-regional center is Dai Thang commune and Dai Minh commune.
Sub-region 3 includes 6 communes (Dai Lanh, Dai Hong, Dai Chanh, Dai Thanh, Dai Son, Dai Hung). This is an area for forestry and eco-tourism development. The center of the sub-region is Dai Lanh commune.
Also according to the plan, Dai Loc district plans to develop 2 industrial parks, 18 industrial clusters, and will form a golf course in Bang Am mountain area and neighboring areas.
