One day after the National Day celebration on September 2 and the brilliant fireworks in the sky of Viet Tri ward, the local people continued the festive atmosphere at Viet Tri stadium, where group C of the 2026 AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers was held.
Two hours before the match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Bangladesh took place, fans poured into the streets with giant national flags.

In recent years, Viet Tri Stadium has been continuously chosen as the venue for major tournaments with the participation of the Vietnam national team as well as the Vietnam U23 team.
Sharing with Tien Phong newspaper reporters, Viet Tri fans said that the more tournaments they attend, the more their love for Vietnamese teams and football grows.
This explains why Viet Tri Stadium is always packed with spectators. On September 3, many fans arrived at the stadium at 3:00 p.m. to watch the opening match between U23 Singapore and U23 Yemen.
To serve fans, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has distributed tickets through online and direct channels. Direct tickets are on sale from September 2 at the Phu Tho Provincial Sports Stadium.
Taking place on National Day, Viet Tri fans hope to bring the A80 spirit to Viet Tri stadium, giving more motivation for the U23 Vietnam players to have a favorable start.
So the national flag, red shirt with yellow star and picture of Uncle Ho were brought.
On the stands of Viet Tri stadium, a large flag was also hung.
Everyone hopes that coach Kim Sang-sik's students will play with fiery spirit and national pride.
Coach Kim Sang-sik also affirmed that he and his students will not disappoint expectations and bring joy on this important occasion of the country.
The Korean coach believes that national pride will be turned into victories, bringing tickets to the 2026 AFC U23 Championship Finals.
