A day after the National Day celebrations on September 2nd and the spectacular fireworks display in Viet Tri ward, the people there continued the festive atmosphere at Viet Tri Stadium, the venue for Group C of the 2026 U23 Asian Cup Qualifiers.
Two hours before the match between Vietnam U23 and Bangladesh U23, fans poured into the streets with giant national flags.
To liven up the atmosphere, they even brought along powerful portable speakers, playing familiar songs throughout the A80 event, such as " The Country Full of Joy," "Oh Vietnam," "Continuing the Story of Peace, " etc.
In recent years, Viet Tri Stadium has consistently been chosen as the venue for major tournaments involving the Vietnamese national team as well as the U23 Vietnamese team.
Speaking to a reporter from Tien Phong newspaper, a fan from Viet Tri said that the more tournaments there are, the more their love for the Vietnamese national teams and football grows.
This explains why Viet Tri Stadium is always packed with spectators. On September 3rd, many fans even arrived at the stadium as early as 3 PM to watch the opening match between U23 Singapore and U23 Yemen.
To serve fans, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has distributed tickets through online and in-person channels. Tickets went on sale in person from September 2nd at the Phu Tho Provincial Sports Arena.
Taking place on National Day, Viet Tri fans hope to bring the spirit of A80 to the Viet Tri stadium, giving the U23 Vietnam players extra motivation for a successful start.
Therefore, the national flag, red shirts with yellow stars, and a picture of President Ho Chi Minh were brought in.
A large flag was also unfurled in the stands of Viet Tri Stadium.
Everyone hopes that Coach Kim Sang-sik's players will play with fiery spirit and national pride.
Coach Kim Sang-sik also affirmed that he and his players will not disappoint expectations and will bring joy on this important occasion for the country.
The South Korean coach believes that national pride will translate into victories, securing a ticket to the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Championship Finals.
