Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 Launched

Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 supports 4.3K resolution screens, 90fps refresh rate - giving users a sharper, more vivid VR experience.

Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 improves tracking capabilities. The device can support 12 cameras + powerful on-device AI - allowing VR glasses to accurately track the user's movements and surroundings.

This SoC boasts a 15% increase in GPU clock speed and a 20% increase in CPU clock speed over its predecessor – improving performance and graphics processing capabilities even for the most demanding VR applications.

The manufacturer says the device will be used in upcoming XR products from Samsung and Google. The company is also partnering with a number of other hardware manufacturers, including HTC, to popularize its new platform.
