Initial leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 15 will feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, which is said to be more secure and reliable than the optical type. For those who don't know, the display on the current generation Xiaomi 14 has a resolution of 2,670 x 1,200 pixels (1.5K) compared to the Full-HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) on the Xiaomi 13.

The Xiaomi display also uses LTPO technology (1-120Hz) and can reach a local peak brightness of 3,000 nits, which is quite a bit higher than the 1,900 nits of its predecessor. Later this year, we can expect Xiaomi to come out with even more impressive display upgrades.
