Samsung launches Galaxy S25 series, emphasizing AI features

In terms of design, this year's three Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra devices do not have many changes compared to their predecessors, except that the highest-end model, the S25 Ultra, has more rounded corners.

All three new Galaxy S devices are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor exclusively for Galaxy, developed on the advanced 3nm process. The company representative said the new processor offers outstanding performance with a 40% increase in NPU, 37% increase in CPU, and 30% increase in GPU compared to the previous generation. The power of this processor allows the Galaxy S25 series to provide more on-device AI experiences without sacrificing performance, including AI tasks that were previously performed through the cloud platform.

Snapdragon Elite for Galaxy also features improved Vulkan Engine and Ray Tracing, delivering smoother and more realistic mobile gaming experiences.

Another change in this year's generation is the camera, which Samsung claims will "elevate the mobile photography experience" with the ability to deliver super detailed photos at any distance thanks to the high-resolution sensor and ProVisual Engine. The Galaxy S25 Ultra model in particular will have a new 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, upgraded from 12 MP in the Galaxy S24 Ultra generation.

In terms of video recording capabilities, waiting for a powerful processor, the Galaxy S25 series can analyze motion and time to effectively reduce noise, while detecting both moving and static objects with high accuracy, ensuring sharp, clear footage.

Samsung is also not behind in the current green development trend as each external component of the Galaxy S25+ and S25 now uses at least one type of recycled material, of which the metal frame is made from recycled aluminum alloy for the first time.

The batteries in each Galaxy S25 series device use at least 50% recycled cobalt - a first for a Galaxy smartphone. This cobalt is recycled from previous generations of devices, or from batteries discarded during the manufacturing process.

In Vietnam, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will be available in Shadow Silver, Navy Blue, Icy Blue and Mint Green. The high-end Galaxy S25 Ultra model includes Titan Blue, Titan Black, Titan Silver and Titan Gray color options. All have a minimum RAM capacity of 12 GB, with the listed price not much different from the Galaxy S24 series: the cheapest from 22.99 million VND and the highest 44.79 million VND.
