  • Young men are ready to enlist in the army.

Young people enthusiastically set out to defend the homeland.

On March 4th, the selected recruits will gather at six designated recruitment centers in the province: the Defense Command of Region 1 - Bac Lieu; the Defense Command of Region 3 - Dat Moi; the Military Command of Gia Rai town (formerly); the Defense Command of Region 2 - Thoi Binh; the Military Command of Ca Mau city (formerly); and the Military Command of Phu Tan district (formerly) to participate in the military training camp. On the morning of March 5th, they will depart for their assigned units according to the plan.

The selected citizens signed their conscription notices in the presence of Comrade Le Minh Tri, Chairman of the People's Committee and Chairman of the Military Service Council of Hoa Thanh Ward.

To successfully fulfill the 2026 military recruitment quota, the Military Service Councils of communes and wards in the province have fully implemented all steps in the selection and recruitment process, ensuring strictness, transparency, and compliance with legal regulations. At the same time, together with relevant agencies and organizations, they have strengthened care and encouragement for families and young people preparing for military service, resulting in most young people in Ca Mau being enthusiastic and mentally at ease before embarking on their duties.

Young man Vu Khanh Van (Bo Cang hamlet, Long Dien commune) enthusiastically said: “I am mentally ready to enlist. For me, wearing the green military uniform is not only a responsibility but also a great source of pride for my youth. In recent days, my family and local authorities have always encouraged and strengthened my resolve. Although I know the military environment will have many discipline and challenges, I believe it is a great school that will help me mature, develop my character, and cultivate the best willpower, worthy of the heroic traditions of my homeland, Ca Mau.”

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Huong, Van's mother, couldn't hide her joy: "Like other parents, my husband and I are very proud to see our son grow up and have a sense of responsibility to the country, especially to have the health and meet the conditions to be selected for military service. Although we know we will miss him when he's away, we always support and encourage him wholeheartedly so that he can complete his assigned tasks to the best of his ability. We hope that the education and training from the unit will help today's young men become strong and resilient, becoming steadfast and mature, worthy of being the outstanding generation that the country needs."
