On the evening of October 14, the second leg of the 2027 Asian Cup final qualifying round between Nepal and Vietnam was scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. at Thong Nhat Stadium. However, the continuous heavy rain caused Thong Nhat Stadium to be flooded, forcing the referee to postpone the match for 30 minutes to drain the water.

Thong Nhat Stadium staff divided into many groups, using poles to push water out of the field so that the match could start. This work was long and very hard, as the mud and water were very heavy, pushing them out onto the field was not easy.
