Speaking to Thanh Nien Newspaper reporter, Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, said that the Grade 10 Examination Council is urgently completing the final stages of the examination marking process. It is expected that tomorrow morning, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will announce the Grade 10 examination scores of 96,000 candidates who took the exam on June 6 and 7.

The benchmark scores for grade 10 for the 2023-2024 school year will be announced at different time points depending on the different school and class models. Commenting on this year's 10th grade exam scores, a leader of the Department of Education and Training said that the scores of the 10th grade exam subjects did not fluctuate much compared to previous years.

Accordingly, the math exam had nearly 55% of candidates scoring above average, with scores concentrated at 5-7 points. The number of 10 points was less than last year.

Foreign language subjects had about 32% of the exams achieving excellent scores and the number of exams achieving excellent scores was the highest among the three subjects. The number of exams achieving 10 points accounted for 2.2%, an increase compared to last year.

In literature, about 90% of the exams scored above average, of which more than 12% scored excellent.

From the average score of the 10th grade exam, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City said that through the test results of the candidates, it showed that the exam was aimed at promoting the capacity, creativity, and individual thinking of students. This was also shown through the fact that the number of zero points in literature and math decreased compared to last year.
