For Thu Hang, the pride in that moment was doubled. Because the female singer was honored to stand on the same stage with famous names such as People's Artist Tan Minh, People's Artist Hoang Anh Tu, artist Xuan Hinh, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, singer Hoang Hai, Van Mai Huong, Oplus group, Dong Hung, Khanh Linh... and nearly 1,000 artists and actors. And August 15 also marked 10 years since she was crowned Champion of folk music style at the Sao Mai 2015 contest.

Sao Mai Nguyen Thu Hang emotionally shared: “I am truly proud and honored to the point that it is difficult to express in words. On the 10th anniversary of winning Sao Mai Champion, I was able to stand on August Revolution Square, singing the National Anthem with other artists in a meaningful and majestic program like “Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945”. That moment will forever be an unforgettable mark in my career journey”.

Before the emotional singing of the National Anthem, Nguyen Thu Hang and other artists performed a medley about Hanoi’s heroic years in combat. Nguyen Thu Hang, in the image of a beautiful militiawoman, participated in two performances, “The Call of Youth” and “August 19”. This heroic scene contributed to creating more emotional, nostalgic and proud feelings for the singing of the National Anthem and the flag-raising ceremony that followed.
During the show, singer Nguyen Thu Hang also participated in performing the song “Praise the Fatherland” in “Act 5” – the part that recreates a splendid Hanoi. Through artistic language, this part depicts the image of the Capital in peacetime, the people working enthusiastically, building to make Hanoi worthy of being a heroic, peaceful , civilized, and humane city.

For Nguyen Thu Hang, this event is a special and precious coincidence. The female singer confided: “Being able to sing the National Anthem and songs praising the Fatherland at the 10-year milestone of my career, I feel like I have to try harder to contribute my small part to art and the country.”
The special art program “Hanoi – From the historic autumn of 1945” was elaborately staged, recreating the 80-year journey from the August Revolution of 1945 to a modern, integrated Hanoi today. Each performance conveyed a message that aroused national pride, love for the homeland and inspired the younger generation to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors.
The moment thousands of spectators simultaneously placed their hands on their chests when the National Anthem played in the middle of August Revolution Square has become a sacred image, deeply imprinted in people's hearts, blending with the sound of the National Anthem being sung on large stages across the country, creating a resounding echo of pride.
