Indonesia's throw-in star absent before match against Vietnam

Defender Pratama Arhan was absent from the Indonesian team's training session on the afternoon of March 25. This player did not previously travel with the team to Vietnam and is currently still in his home country.

Pratama Arhan is an important factor for the Indonesian team. He possesses powerful and dangerous throw-ins. In the first leg match on March 21, Arhan's throw-in led to a goal by Egy Maulana, helping Indonesia win 1-0 against Vietnam.

The Indonesian team had only 22 players in the training session on the afternoon of March 25.

At the 31st SEA Games, Coach Troussier's U22 Vietnam conceded two goals from Pratama Arhan's throw-ins. Former Liverpool throw-in coach Thomas Gronnemark highly appreciated the 2001-born player's skills and believes he can improve further.

If Pratama Arhan does not play, Coach Troussier will have less worries about throw-in situations. At today's press conference, the French coach shared: " We have prepared for the opponent's throw-in situations. Before entering the last match, I also talked with the Japanese coaching staff, they also lost like that. Indonesia's registered squad has 26 players. However, Indonesia's training session today has 22 players, including 3 goalkeepers. Striker Rafael Struick just landed at Noi Bai on the evening of March 25, so he did not have time to practice before tomorrow's match.
