Suoi Quyen is a mountainous commune with more than 95% of the population being Dao ethnic people, the lives of the people in the commune still have many difficulties. In particular, focusing on propaganda and mobilizing ethnic people to strictly comply with the guidelines, policies and policies of the Party and the State; participating in the renovation and repair of inter-village and inter-hamlet roads; propagating sanitation, environment, and forest protection; not trading or transporting illegal forest products; actively working in production, developing the economy, stabilizing life, eliminating hunger, reducing poverty, and strengthening national defense and security. In particular, as a mountainous commune, highland, rugged terrain, every year, when there are floods, villages and hamlets are often cut off and isolated, the cadres and militia soldiers of Suoi Quyen commune promote their role as a local force in preventing, fighting, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, epidemics, searching and rescuing, contributing to stabilizing the lives and production of the people.
Comrade Dang Ton Nay added that the militia force regularly grasps the local situation, promptly advises local Party committees and authorities to effectively resolve complex issues arising right from the grassroots. For example, grasping and promptly advising and coordinating to prevent opportunistic elements from inciting sabotage, causing political insecurity and social order and safety in the locality and grassroots; advising and coordinating to maintain the solidarity of villages and hamlets, contributing to protecting a peaceful life, beautifying the image of the "square star" soldiers in the hearts of the ethnic people of Suoi Quyen.
