According to Mr. Ấn, the old house was in a low-lying area, posing dangers as the rainy season and floods approached, so the family moved to a higher location. Officers and militia soldiers from Suối Quyền commune used their personal motorbikes to help the family transport materials and mix concrete for the new house foundation.

Suoi Quyen is a mountainous commune where over 95% of the population are Dao ethnic minorities, and the lives of the people in the commune are still fraught with difficulties. Comrade Dang Ton Nay, Commander of the Suoi Quyen Commune Military Command, shared: "We always consider the militia as our own children and grandchildren, so we need to work together to support the people in developing the economy , improving their lives, and protecting security and order."
Implementing the policy of "being close to the people and caring for the people," the Commune Military Command has done a good job advising the Party Committee and the local government on leading and directing the strengthening of training combined with mass mobilization work, participating in building new rural areas with content and forms suitable to the local reality. This includes focusing on disseminating information and mobilizing ethnic minority people to strictly abide by the Party and State's guidelines, policies, and principles; participating in the construction and repair of inter-village roads; promoting sanitation, environmental protection, and forest conservation; preventing the illegal trade and transportation of forest products; actively engaging in production, developing the economy, stabilizing lives, eradicating hunger and poverty, and consolidating national defense and security. Particularly in mountainous, highland communes with rugged terrain, where villages are often cut off and isolated during annual floods, the militia officers and soldiers of Suoi Quyen commune have effectively played their role as a local force in preventing, mitigating, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics, as well as in search and rescue operations, contributing to the stability of the lives and production of the local people.
Comrade Dang Ton Nay added that the militia forces regularly keep a close watch on the local situation, promptly advising the Party committee and local government on effectively resolving complex issues arising at the grassroots level. For example, they accurately and promptly advise and coordinate efforts to prevent opportunistic elements from inciting opposition and disrupting political security and social order in the locality and at the grassroots level; they advise and coordinate efforts to maintain unity among villages and hamlets, contributing to protecting peaceful lives and enhancing the image of the "square star" militia soldiers in the hearts of the people of Suoi Quyen.
