During the 3 days of October 1-3, at the National Innovation Center (NIC) Hoa Lac, the Vietnam Innovation International Exhibition 2025 will take place. The event is in response to the National Innovation Day (October 1).

On September 25, the National Innovation Center in collaboration with the Department of Innovation organized the Information Announcement Ceremony for the National Innovation Day 2025 and the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2025 (Photo: Minh Nhat).

According to Mr. Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the National Innovation Center, for Vietnam in the context of fierce globalization and competition, innovation is not only a need but also a command of the times, deciding the future stature of the country.

“The National Innovation Day and the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition are among the activities to materialize Resolution 57/NQ-TW of the Politburo on scientific and technological breakthroughs, innovation and digital transformation.

This is not only an opportunity to honor products and achievements of Innovation, but also an opportunity to exchange and connect elements in the innovation ecosystem," Mr. Huy shared.

The ceremony to respond to the National Innovation Day took place on the morning of October 1 with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, ministries, branches, localities, along with the business community, research institutes, universities, investment funds, international organizations and the media, expected to attract more than 800 delegates.

The ceremony will announce the Local Innovation Index (PII 2025) along with many activities launched in response from businesses, international organizations, and experts.

Nobel Prize-winning scientist visits Vietnam

Within the framework of the National Innovation Day, the Ministry of Science and Technology hosted the Innovation Policy Forum.

According to Mr. Nguyen Mai Duong, Director of the Department of Innovation (Ministry of Science and Technology), the main theme of this year's Festival is "Innovation for all people - Driving force for national development".

Innovation does not only come from research labs and scientists, but it also exists in every citizen and every individual, contributing to the common strength of the entire nation.

The Vietnam Innovation International Exhibition 2025 brings together all elements of the Vietnamese innovation ecosystem and is expected to attract about 40,000 visitors.

The exhibition featured the presence of hundreds of typical technology enterprises, thousands of brands, science and technology products, and innovations from businesses, startups, institutes/schools.

The exhibition will display and introduce new products and technologies in 11 key sectors in Decision 1131 of the Prime Minister dated June 12.

During the 3-day event, VIIE 2025 will organize many forums, in-depth workshops and experiential activities.

Notably, the Forum on Unlocking the Potential of French-Vietnamese Innovation will see the participation of Nobel Prize-winning scientist Serge Haroche.

Along with that are a series of attractive activities: STEM Experience Zone (October 1-3), National VEX Robotics Tournament 2026 - Kick-off (October 2), Ceremony to honor teams with high achievements in the International STEM and Robotics Tournament (October 2), Vietnam Mobility Festival - Test drive experience (October 1-2) and Gala Better Choice Awards (October 3) - awards to honor typical innovative products.
