Administrative unit arrangement: No interruption in management work

Localities and units need to urgently and seriously implement the Plan to implement the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels in the period of 2023 - 2025 of Da Nang city - is the direction of Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, at the meeting with localities and units, on the afternoon of December 2.

Accordingly, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh requested that localities and units in the implementation process need to be unified, synchronous, and closely linked with the implementation of Resolution No. 136 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city and the Decree detailing and implementing measures effective from January 1, 2025. In particular, it is noted that the implementation process does not affect the common activities of each district and ward; there is no interruption in the management and operation between the old district and ward administrative units and the new administrative units after the arrangement; does not affect the lives, production and activities of the people. The People's Committees of the districts pay attention to and resolve the arrangement and assignment of redundant cadres, civil servants and non-professional workers. The Department of Home Affairs is assigned to preside over, research and advise on the arrangement of residential groups. Regarding the transfer of schools from Lien Chieu district to Thanh Khe district, it must be completed before January 1, 2025, but without affecting students' studies, causing psychological and procedural disruption for students. The People's Committees of the districts shall fully report on implementation issues, difficulties and related problems to the Department of Home Affairs for synthesis so that the City People's Committee can direct and handle them thoroughly./.
