Sinner faces Djokovic in the semi-finals of the Six Kings Slam 2025

(Dan Tri) - The victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas with a score of 6-2, 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the Six Kings Slam exhibition tournament in Saudi Arabia on the evening of October 15 brought Jannik Sinner into the semi-finals to meet Novak Djokovic.

With a higher level, Sinner overwhelmed Tsitsipas when he continuously won 3 break-points to lead 5-0 in the opening set. Despite trying to regain 1 break, Tsitsipas still had to sadly give up the racket with a score of 2-6.

In the second set, the Greek player saw Sinner break his serve two games in a row and lead 3-0, then reclaim the break to reduce the gap to 2-3. In the pivotal game 9, Tsitsipas made another mistake, allowing Sinner to break-point and end the set with a 6-3 victory.

The winner of the 2025 Six Kings Slam will receive $4.5 million, much higher than the champion of the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon. Last year, Sinner won the championship by beating Djokovic in the semi-finals and Alcaraz in the final.

Djokovic and Alcaraz have been selected to the Six Kings Slam semi-finals this year because they have the most Grand Slam titles among the players in the tournament. Alcaraz's opponent in today's semi-final (October 16) is Taylor Fritz, who beat Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-4 in the quarter-finals.
