Department of Agriculture and Environment commends 89 typical advanced collectives and individuals

On the afternoon of August 26, Khanh Hoa Department of Agriculture and Environment held the first advanced model conference, period 2025 - 2030.

During the period of 2020 - 2025, the patriotic emulation movement of the Department of Agriculture and Environment has been widely deployed, becoming an important driving force to motivate cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole industry to strive to excellently complete their tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment spoke at the conference.

Emulation movements are closely linked to political tasks and social life, notably: "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", the movement "For the poor - No one is left behind", "Eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses", "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees practice office culture", or peak emulation periods to build 3,000km of highways... Many creative models have been effectively implemented such as: "Women start creative businesses associated with OCOP", "Green - clean - beautiful routes", "Day without printing paper, work week without paper documents"... At the same time, the department has promoted digital transformation, practiced thrift against waste, and strongly promoted office culture, contributing to building a team of responsible, professional, and friendly civil servants.

Many outstanding OCOP products were displayed at the conference.

Through the emulation movement, many collectives and individuals were awarded; of which 5 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister and many collectives and individuals were awarded by the Provincial People's Committee and ministries and branches for outstanding achievements.

In the period of 2025 - 2030, the Department of Agriculture and Environment determined to continue to innovate and improve the quality of emulation movements, closely linked to the task of socio-economic development and the goal of building new rural areas, eliminating temporary housing, and sustainable poverty reduction. The work of building and replicating advanced models will be given more attention; at the same time, the leadership and direction role will be strengthened, timely detecting and rewarding good people and good deeds.

On the sidelines of the conference, there were booths displaying typical agricultural products and outstanding OCOP products in the whole province for delegates to visit and learn about. Many outstanding products with high processing content such as: Agarwood, bird's nest, apple, mango, durian, herbs.... Also on this occasion, the Department of Agriculture and Environment awarded certificates of merit to 18 collectives and 71 typical advanced individuals in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025.
