The Department of Health inspects and supervises disease prevention and environmental treatment after flooding in Trang Dinh area.

On October 9, 2025, the working group of the Department of Health led by Mr. Nguyen The Toan, Director of the Department of Health, inspected and supervised the work of disease prevention and environmental treatment after flooding at Trang Dinh Regional Medical Center. The delegation included leaders of functional departments of the Department of Health and the Provincial Center for Disease Control.

At the Regional Medical Center, the working group of the Department of Health was given a quick report on the Center's response to the impact of storm No. 11. Accordingly, many areas in the Trang Dinh area were flooded. As of October 9, heavily flooded areas such as That Khe commune and Trang Dinh commune had basically receded. The Trang Dinh Regional Medical Center, medical stations and stations in the Trang Dinh area were not flooded, and there was no impact on medical examination and treatment and health care for people in the area.

For post-flood environmental treatment, the unit has prepared enough chemicals and disinfectant solutions to ensure environmental treatment. Currently, the unit is doing a good job of disinfecting and post-flood environmental treatment.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen The Toan, Director of the Department, highly appreciated the unit's preparation and proactiveness in disease prevention and environmental treatment after floods. He directed that in the coming time, the unit will urgently complete the environmental disinfection spraying in flooded areas; prioritize ensuring clean water for people's daily life; closely coordinate with local authorities in disease prevention propaganda; strengthen guidance and support for people in water treatment, ensure clean environment to prevent diseases that may develop after floods, contributing to ensuring health care for people in the area.

Immediately after the working session at Trang Dinh Regional Medical Center, the working delegation of the Department of Health inspected the actual environmental treatment and disinfection spraying activities in village 1, That Khe commune; inspected the actual treatment of domestic water to serve the needs of people at the Water Supply Station, Trang Dinh Branch.
