Ninh Binh Club - the rookie of V.League 2025-2026 is the most active in the transfer market. Ninh Binh's most notable contract is recruiting center back Nguyen Duc Chien from The Cong Viettel . The signing bonus for this player is rumored to be up to 6 billion VND per season.
Ninh Binh Club also recruited the trio Chau Ngoc Quang, Tran Bao Toan and Dung Quang Nho from Hoang Anh Gia Lai . The team also successfully recruited 3 foreign players including Gustavo Henrique, Pedraza and Victor Morales.

A story that has been mentioned recently is that many football teams have simultaneously proposed to increase the number of foreign players. 7 V.League clubs, namely Nam Dinh Green Steel, Hanoi, Viettel The Cong, Hanoi Police Football, Hai Phong and SHB Da Nang, have sent a dispatch to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) proposing to increase the number of foreign players used on the field at the same time from 3 to 4 people. According to the teams' point of view, increasing the number of foreign players not only helps to maximize player resources but is also a solution to improve the professional quality and attractiveness of matches in the V.League.
Nam Dinh Club signed contracts with 7-8 foreign players last season. However, they can only register a maximum of 5 players in the playing list and can only use 3 players on the field at the same time in V.League. However, after 3 days of submitting the petition, some clubs suddenly withdrew the proposal to increase the number of foreign players in V.League. The teams agreed to return to the plan that was included in the draft of the tournament's regulations before.
According to VPF's draft charter for the 2025-2026 season, clubs are allowed to register 4 foreign players, but can only use a maximum of 3 on the field at the same time.
