A vibrant atmosphere of competition is spreading across key projects.

In celebration of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, a vibrant atmosphere of labor competition is taking place at key construction projects of the province and the nation. Overcoming difficulties, contractors, construction units, engineers, and workers are determined to accelerate the progress of these projects.

After 8 months of intensive construction with the spirit of "overcoming the sun and rain," "3 shifts and 4 teams," "only focusing on work, not retreating," and close and effective coordination between construction forces, the 500kV circuit 3 power line project from Quang Trach ( Quang Binh ) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) has been completed and will be energized at the end of August 2024, in a practical way to celebrate National Day on September 2nd.

The 500 kV circuit 3 power line project (from Quang Trach, Quang Binh to Pho Noi, Hung Yen ) comprises 4 sub-projects with a total length of approximately 515 km, passing through 9 provinces, including Ninh Binh. Specifically, the project passes through 11 communes in Kim Son district with 21 tower locations, spanning 7.83 km. The project's land use area is 3.79 hectares, affecting 93 households whose land is expropriated for tower foundations and 24 households affected by the power line corridor.

Comrade Duong Duc Dang, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, affirmed that Ninh Binh has quickly taken action to seriously implement related tasks such as: route agreement, land clearance, support for construction contractors... especially the compensation and land clearance work has been decisively directed; the work of propaganda and mobilization of households and individuals whose land is being reclaimed has been intensified.

By January 15, 2024, Ninh Binh province had completed the handover of all 21/21 pole locations, and by March 30, 2024, Ninh Binh province had completed the handover of 9/9 anchorage sections. It was the first of the 9 provinces through which the power line passes to complete the handover of land and anchorage sections to the investor, creating favorable conditions for the construction unit to have the land available to start the project early.

After completing the land handover, Ninh Binh province leveraged the "four on-site" advantage (on-site command; on-site forces; on-site equipment and materials; on-site logistics) to support and undertake simple stages in the construction of the foundation and piling of the project, such as excavation and excavation of pole holes according to the design drawings. This helped the investor shorten the project construction time, which significantly contributed to the construction unit completing and energizing the 500kV Nam Dinh I-Thanh Hoa transmission line on June 30th, as scheduled.

According to the investor's representative, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), the implementation of the 500 kV circuit 3 transmission line project from Thanh Hoa to Nam Dinh I has always received close attention and guidance from the Prime Minister, ministries and agencies, the leaders of EVN and EVNNPT, and the consensus and support of the local authorities through which the project passes.

According to the plan, the inauguration ceremony for the 500 kV circuit 3 power line project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi will be held at the end of August 2024. This is the result of the spirit of unity and cooperation, the involvement of the entire political system, affirming that nothing is difficult, nothing is impossible. The spirit of "overcoming the sun and rain" has also spread to the construction sites of key projects in the province.

At the Van River overpass and western access road construction project, dozens of engineers and workers from the construction contractor are urgently carrying out important technical stages to complete the Van River bridge, contributing to celebrating the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport: The investment project to build the Van River overpass and the western access road to the Van River in Ninh Binh province is invested by the Department of Transport with a total investment of 340 billion VND. The goal is to gradually complete the transportation infrastructure according to the plan; strengthen the connection between urban sub-areas of the city; connect the North-South Expressway with National Highway 1 and the Ninh Binh city bypass (extended DT.477) to ensure seamless and continuous traffic from the North-South Expressway through the center of Ninh Binh city; reduce traffic congestion in the city, and promote socio-economic development of Ninh Binh city in particular and Ninh Binh province in general.

Currently, the project has completed land clearance, the substructure, the bridge deck, the installation of the architectural arches, and is completing the remaining items of the concrete bridge. Regarding the road section, the hard asphalt concrete layer has been completed for the main route and the intersections with National Highway 1 and Nguyen Hue Street; preparations are underway for the completion of the road surface and traffic safety system. The estimated construction value is 162 billion VND, reaching 86.9% of the total value, and the disbursement rate is 84.2% of the allocated capital.

Specifically for the Van River overpass, the design includes a length of 64.69m, approach roads at both ends totaling over 366m, and an asphalt concrete pavement. In addition, the project includes the construction of architectural arches; lighting systems, landscaping, gardens, trees, and other related items. This is the most important component of the project, therefore it has received meticulous investment in both technical and aesthetic aspects to ensure that the completed structure will be a highlight of urban architecture.

Deputy Director of the Department of Transport Nguyen Quang Minh added: The investment project to build the Van River overpass and the western access road to the Van River is a multi-purpose project of significant importance and strategic nature. The Provincial Party Standing Committee has focused on directing its acceleration during this term to create a synchronous and modern urban transport infrastructure. This will not only open up new spaces, opportunities, and impetus for the development and breakthrough progress of the province and localities, but also create urban spaces and landscapes, highlight architectural features, and develop inner-city tourism. It will gradually realize the development vision of "taking tourism and cultural industries as the spearhead" and transform Ninh Binh into a centrally-governed city with the characteristics of a Millennium Heritage City and a creative city.

The vibrant atmosphere of labor emulation on key national and provincial construction sites is a positive sign, contributing to Ninh Binh's progress in completing its transportation infrastructure system and creating momentum for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the province.
