
Through experiential activities such as writing calligraphy, wearing Hanfu, painting masks, performing the art of Transformation, Chinese dubbing competition, etc., the event is a useful playground to help students practice language skills, exchange and learn, and explore the beauty of Chinese culture.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long - Principal of Danang University of Foreign Languages said that the school is currently training more than 800 students majoring in Chinese Language and Chinese Pedagogy.
The training program is expanded in the direction of application, training in Chinese for commerce, tourism, interpretation and teaching Chinese to meet the labor needs in the region, contributing to promoting international cooperation ineducation , enhancing friendship and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.

“International Chinese Language Day 2025 is a testament to the school's role as an ambassador in people-to-people diplomacy to enhance cultural and educational exchanges between Vietnam and China.
In particular, through this event, students will have a deeper understanding of the unique appeal of Vietnamese and Chinese culture, thereby further strengthening the friendship between the people of the two countries," said Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long.
According to Ms. Dong Bich Du - Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Da Nang, Chinese has a deep historical relationship with Vietnam. Typically, the Temple of Literature in Hanoi, the Imperial Citadel in Hue and Linh Ung Pagoda in Da Nang all have signs written in Chinese. In addition, many words in Vietnamese can be compared word by word with Chinese through Sino-Vietnamese pronunciation.
Ms. Dong Bich Du affirmed that learning Chinese will bring many benefits, help broaden vision and improve understanding because Chinese is one of the most widely used languages in the world. Learning Chinese is opening the door to communication and learning with more than 1.4 billion Chinese people.

“Over the past 20 years, China has been Vietnam’s largest trading partner, and Vietnam is currently China’s largest trading partner in the ASEAN region. Last year, bilateral trade turnover between the two countries exceeded 260 billion USD, contributing to the creation of a large number of jobs.
Therefore, mastering Chinese means a more open future, bringing more job opportunities. When you learn Chinese, whether you work in politics, business or education, you will have development opportunities and worthy investment value," said Ms. Dong Bich Du.
It is known that this is also the first time International Chinese Language Day is held in the Central region of Vietnam.
