On the evening of May 27, at Moc Chau National Tourist Area, Son La province held the opening ceremony of Son La Provincial Cultural Tourism Festival " World's Leading Regional Natural Destination" in 2023.
Attending the event were comrades: Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Tong Thi Phong, former Politburo member, former Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.
In his opening speech, Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh said that on November 11, 2022, Moc Chau National Tourist Area in Son La province surpassed many nominations of famous landmarks in the world to be honored as "World's Leading Regional Natural Destination 2022" at the World Travel Awards 2022 Final Gala held in the Republic of Oman.

"This is a noble title of the tourism industry and an honor and pride of Moc Chau National Tourist Area in particular and Son La province in general," emphasized the Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province said that the festival was organized with many rich and diverse activities, rich in the cultural identity of ethnic groups.
Through the festival activities, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province hopes that the images of nature, people, historical relics and scenic spots of Son La province and Moc Chau National Tourist Area will be widely promoted to domestic and international tourists.

At the opening ceremony, representatives of Son La province received the World Travel Awards trophy presented by World Travel Awards brand Chairman Graham Cooke.
Son La Province Cultural Tourism Festival “World’s Leading Regional Natural Destination” took place from May 26 to May 28, at Moc Chau National Tourist Area. The festival was organized with many rich and diverse activities, rich in ethnic cultural identity. Thereby contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of Son La ethnic groups, attracting investment, especially investment in the province’s tourism sector.
