On the evening of October 11, the concert Em xinh say hi took place at My Dinh National Stadium, attracting tens of thousands of spectators from Hanoi and many other provinces. Following the success of the first night, the second night brought exciting performances, taking the audience into a colorful musical space.
After more than 3 hours, the show ended with a brilliant fireworks display. However, some fans recorded images of fireworks shooting out many small sparks, not only falling near the barrier but also heading straight towards the audience. When landing, the sparks flared up and then went out. Although there were no reports of injuries, the incident still left many people confused.
As soon as the video of the incident went viral, the online community expressed concern about fire safety at large-scale music events, especially when the audience reaches tens of thousands of people.
Many comments expressed concern: "It's scary to see the fire shooting out, I hope the organizers will review carefully to avoid risks for the audience in the following nights", "Fireworks are beautiful but come with risks, we need a strict safety plan for everyone", "Small incident but an important reminder about safety, I hope future events will be prepared more carefully"...

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Ngoc Linh (born 2001) - an audience member attending the concert and sitting near the area where the incident occurred - said: "When the fire broke out, everyone around panicked and screamed loudly, the atmosphere was very chaotic. Luckily, I was not injured, but at that time I was really scared."
Thao Vy (born 2008) from Tien Giang , was one of the spectators hit by fireworks. Luckily, she only suffered minor burns. After first aid and topical medication, her health stabilized and she was able to return home safely.
After Thao Vy posted about her minor burns on social media, many people expressed their concern and advised her to contact the organizers. However, Thao Vy said that this was just an unfortunate incident and hoped that the organizers would improve safety measures to avoid similar situations in the next shows.

Immediately after the incident, on the morning of October 12, the organizers issued an official announcement apologizing to the audience and affirmed that they would carefully review technical aspects and strengthen safety measures for the following shows.
Previously, during the first show in Ho Chi Minh City, right after the opening choir of 30 "beautiful girls", some audience members near the stage discovered a fire rising behind the scaffolding, believed to have come from the fireworks effect.
The fire was quickly controlled by security forces and technical staff within 1-2 minutes, ensuring safety for the audience and the stage. Tran Thanh and the 30 contestants continued to interact and perform normally, not letting the incident affect the atmosphere of the program.

According to some audience members, the fire only occurred in a small area behind the stage, so viewers from afar could hardly notice it, only seeing a flickering flame. Many people said they almost did not notice the incident during the show, only knowing when they got home and watched the video online.
The incidents during the two shows have raised alarm bells about safety issues at major music events, which incorporate many lighting effects and fireworks.
