While traveling on Ho Chi Minh road through Dak Mil district (Dak Nong province), 4 cars suddenly had a series of accidents, seriously injuring one driver.
On the morning of October 31, Mr. Tran Khac Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuan An Commune (Dak Mil District, Dak Nong Province) confirmed that a series of accidents between 2 tractor-trailers, 1 truck and 1 4-seater car occurred on the evening of October 30, seriously injuring 1 driver and causing traffic congestion for many hours.
Initial information, at around 5:00 p.m. on October 30, a tractor trailer with license plate number 47E 007.52 driven by Pham Van Duong (born in 1985, residing in Dak Lak ) was traveling on Ho Chi Minh road in the direction of Dak Mil town to Dak Song district (Dak Nong).
When arriving at Thuan An commune (Dak Mil district), the above tractor-trailer hit a tractor-trailer with license plate number: 51D-129.47 driven by driver Le Thanh Tam (born in 1985, residing in Vinh Long province) in the opposite direction.
At the same time, the truck with license plate number 47C-298.49 driven by Huynh Anh Phuc (born in 1992, residing in Dong Nai province) continued to collide with the rear of driver Tam's car.
The tractor-trailer driven by driver Duong continued to collide with the rear door of a 4-seater car with license plate 47A - 174.21 driven by Nguyen Khoa Tien (born in 1985, residing in Dak Lak) in the opposite direction. The tractor-trailer then moved about 5m and crashed into the left curb.
The multiple accidents caused driver Duong to break his kneecap and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. At the scene, the vehicles were damaged, with an estimated loss of about 80 million VND.
After the accident, authorities arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
