The product is manufactured by Apimed Pharmaceutical Factory - Branch of Apimed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. This batch of products has been suspended from sale, circulation and use since July 22.
Regarding the reason for suspending the above batch of functional foods, the Food Safety Department said the reason was due to the product's poor quality, specifically the test results showed that the vitamin B2 content (Riboflavin sodium phosphate) reached 86.9 mg/tablet.
Meanwhile, on the packaging of this product, the vitamin B2 content is 15 mg/tablet.
At the end of May, the Food Safety Department inspected the implementation of food safety regulations at the Apimed Pharmaceutical Factory. The Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Public Health conducted product sample testing.
The Food Safety Department requires Apimed Pharmaceutical Factory - Branch of Apimed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company to take remedial measures within 7 days.
The above products are only allowed to continue circulating if they have been remedied satisfactorily and have been confirmed by the inspection agency.
Apiroca-B health protection food is introduced as an effervescent tablet, used for adults with low resistance, people who need to supplement vitamins and minerals for the body.
