Tam Ky held a ceremony to posthumously award the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother

At the ceremony, authorized bythe President , the leaders of Tam Ky City announced the decision and awarded the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to the relatives of mother Trinh Thi Gao (born in 1911, hometown Tam Phu commune, Tam Ky city) - whose 2 children are martyrs and mother Nguyen Thi Lu (born in 1921, hometown Tam Tra commune, Nui Thanh district) - whose 1 child is a martyr.

Up to now, Tam Ky City has 894 mothers who have been awarded or posthumously awarded the honorary title of "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" by the State; of which 2 mothers are still alive and are being cared for by units for life.
