According to PhoneArena , in the digital age, smartphones have become invaluable in people's daily lives. For many, traveling without a smartphone is impossible, which is why many are discouraged by the prospect of having to replace or repair their smartphones. This is especially true for iPhone users.
iPhones and smartphones in general are playing an increasingly important role in many people's lives.
A CIRP survey assessed how users would handle the situation if their iPhone was stolen or damaged. The results showed that 45% of respondents would replace or repair their iPhone immediately on the same day if it were stolen, lost, or damaged. Another 34% would try to get a working iPhone temporarily within 1-2 days. Thus, nearly 80% of Apple users feel they cannot live without their iPhone for more than 48 hours.
But there are also some individuals who are confident in their ability to "live well" without their iPhones. 15% of respondents said they would replace or repair their iPhone within a week, while 4% chose within a month. Only 1% needed more than a month to do so. Interestingly, another 1% stated they would "never" replace or repair their iPhone.
The survey also asked a similar question regarding iPads and MacBooks. The results showed that the majority of users would not rush to replace or repair them, while 27% would do so immediately.
The research results demonstrate just how important iPhones (and smartphones in general) are in the lives of their owners. Essentially, users worry when they don't have their phone in their pocket and panic when they completely lose access to it.
