TPO - In the first days of 2025, hundreds of workers and machines rushed to complete the Phung Khoang Lake Park project (Hanoi) with an excited spirit, making enthusiastic efforts to achieve the handover schedule before the Lunar New Year of At Ty.

With a total investment of more than 3,483 billion VND, Phung Khoang Lake Park Project (located in two districts: Nam Tu Liem and Thanh Xuan).

The project is invested by the Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation and the Urban Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company with a scale of 11.8 hectares.

According to the reporter's records, right from the first day of the new year 2025, hundreds of workers and machinery are rushing to urgently complete the project to hand over before the Lunar New Year of At Ty as requested by the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Unlike the image of overgrown grass around the park more than a month ago, workers have now cleared and cleaned the area.

Many items had to be reinstalled due to nearly ten years of closure, causing a state of abandonment.

The sidewalk area is paved with new stone, and the flower garden is being fenced.

New grass and trees were planted and trimmed. It is known that there are currently about 150 workers and dozens of machines (belonging to 3 contractors) working at the construction site.

Phung Khoang Lake Park project was first approved for planning in 2007, started construction in 2016 but after many years still could not be put into service for the people.

As of December 31, with 39 renovation and repair items, contractors have completed about 60% of the work volume compared to the original design.

Also related to this project, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan requested that construction units focus all their efforts to complete all items synchronously. The construction must not interfere with moving trees, affecting the landscape of the area and the park. In addition, because the park is located on To Huu Street, adjacent to the urban area, it is necessary to create open space, not build high and hard fences.
