The Congress consulted on personnel for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, term XII, 2024-2029, with 82/87 members, 5 members missing, to be added in the term 2024-2029.

Comrade Do Van Chien presented a Certificate of Merit to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city.

Mr. Le Van Trung was re-elected Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, term XII, 2024-2029.

On this occasion, comrade Do Van Chien presented a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to the Da Nang City Front for its outstanding achievements in the 2019-2024 term.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Do Van Chien highly appreciated and agreed with the draft documents submitted to the Congress. He suggested 5 contents for the 12th Congress to implement in the coming term: Continuing to thoroughly grasp the contents of Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023 of the 13th Party Central Committee;

The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all city levels needs to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, stay close to the grassroots, stay close to the people, promote the application of information technology, adapt to the digital society to propagate and mobilize people in the direction of the whole people, comprehensively, with focus, key points, close to the reality of the city;

Effectively implement the Law on Grassroots Democracy, further promote the people's mastery, effectively implement the motto: People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit; promote training, fostering and training of cadres working in the Front;

Finally, in any circumstances, the Vietnam Fatherland Front must fulfill its noble mission, being a solid bridge to maintain the "blood-flesh" relationship between the Party, the State and the people; maintaining solidarity among the components, classes and strata of the people.

In the 2024-2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Da Nang city identified 3 breakthroughs: Promoting democracy, contributing ideas to Party and government building, improving the quality of supervision and social criticism activities; Actively propagating and mobilizing resources to contribute to the effective implementation of the City Program "5 no's", "3 yes's" and the City Program "4 safe", the program "no temporary houses, dilapidated houses"; Building a residential area of solidarity, consensus; security, safety; prosperity, happiness.

Some specific targets include: Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Da Nang Liberation Day, mobilizing support to build 100 Great Unity houses for poor households in the revolutionary base area of Quang Da special zone; The city-wide "For the Poor" Fund reaches 150 billion VND; every year, 100% of poor and near-poor households are visited and given Tet gifts; 100% of residential areas organize the Great National Unity Festival, each residential area has at least 1 specific project or task contributing to building and serving the community...
