Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Legal Dissemination, Education and Legal Aid Le Ve Quoc said that Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW is a concentrated crystallization of all the major thoughts, viewpoints and orientations of the Party, the State and especially of General Secretary To Lam on the innovation of thinking in law-making and law enforcement. It proposes many groups of solutions to be able to implement the innovation of law-making and law enforcement in a drastic, synchronous, substantive and effective manner.
"I want to emphasize the role of the entire political system, especially the role of media and press agencies in disseminating official, complete, and easily accessible legal information about the spirit and content of Resolution 66 to all people," Mr. Le Ve Quoc emphasized.
According to Mr. Le Ve Quoc, Resolution 66 requires the establishment of a media column to communicate major policies and guidelines on law at times that attract audiences. This affirms that in order for the Resolution to come into life, the role of the media is very important. The Resolution also assigns the Central Propaganda and Education Commission to direct and guide press agencies, requiring press agencies to participate in and strongly communicate the spirit of this Resolution.
"The Ministry of Justice is the unit in charge of drafting and advising on this Resolution, so we hope to share and coordinate with press agencies to soon bring Resolution 66 into life," Mr. Le Ve Quoc emphasized.
At the conference, delegates had discussions and hoped that in the coming time, relevant units of the Ministry of Justice will continue to coordinate more closely and regularly with media agencies to provide official, accurate and timely information, contributing to the early implementation of Resolution 66 into practical life.
