On November 13, Mr. Huynh Gia Hoang, Chairman of Tuy An District People's Committee ( Phu Yen ), said that the locality has announced the fee for visiting the special national monument, Ganh Da Dia scenic spot (in An Ninh Dong commune, Tuy An district).
This fee collection is applied according to Resolution 19/2023/NQ-HDND dated October 18, 2023 of the People's Council of Phu Yen province on regulations on collection, management and use of funds for visiting scenic spots in Phu Yen province.
Accordingly, the entrance fee for this scenic spot is 40,000 VND/person/trip, an increase of 20,000 VND/trip compared to before. The above fee includes insurance for visitors.
Children, the elderly from 80 years old and above, people with severe disabilities as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 11 of Decree 28/2012/ND-CP, people with revolutionary contributions (veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-uprising cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Armed Forces Heroes) are exempted from entrance fees.
People in extremely disadvantaged communes and villages in Phu Yen province (according to Decision 861/QD-TTg dated June 4, 2021 of the Prime Minister ); elderly people from 60 years old to under 80 years old, people with severe disabilities as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 11 of Decree 28/2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012 of the Government; subjects specified in Clause 2, Article 2 of Decision 170/2003/QD-TTg dated August 14, 2003 of the Prime Minister on preferential policies for cultural enjoyment (labor heroes; war invalids; people enjoying policies like war invalids and sick soldiers; subjects cared for at nursing facilities for war invalids and sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to relatives of martyrs; subjects cared for at social protection facilities) are entitled to a 50% reduction in fees.
Ganh Da Dia is a unique natural beauty spot and is considered “one of a kind” in Vietnam. Ganh Da Dia is an area with special geological conditions with basalt rocks formed by volcanic eruptions. When conditions are suitable, they form columnar rocks with pentagonal and hexagonal cross-sections distributed over a relatively large area along the coast.
